[Linux] Oracle VirtualBox installation CentOS 8

1. download CentOS

CentOS Download address ：

Here we use CentOS8 For example

  Choose a faster address , Here we use jdcloud mirror For example

  Choose local installation package here , The network installation package needs to be installed from the network download Relatively slow

 2. download Virtual Box

The download address is as follows :Downloads – Oracle VM VirtualBox

  Set type Linux , edition Linux 2.6/3.x/4.x(64-bit), Memory and hard disk depends on your configuration choice

Select the virtual hard disk storage location

  Here are some settings

System / List the optical drive as the first in the startup sequence

Storage /  controller ：IDE Add the just downloaded ISO Mirror image

start-up

  Here's the first one Install CentOS Linux 8.0.1905

  Wait a moment to enter the installation screen , Choose the installation language , Click next

Confirm the settings in sequence

  Confirm to install the disk

Exciting network settings

Here, you can choose the installation environment according to your personal needs , Because of the virtual machine , I choose minimal install

There are different options according to the above image , The full image is loaded above , Not online , So there is no need to download here

installation is complete , Shut down the virtual machine first , Then remove the optical drive image in the system settings , Restart , Otherwise, the installation screen of the first step will appear
