Installing Oracle Xe with Linux

linux install oracle XE

Installation instructions : System is CentOS edition :2.6.32-754.el6.x86_64

1. First installation jdk And configure environment variables

2. install oracle XE

2.1 Get into /usr/local/src

cd /usr/local/src

2.2 establish oracle Folder

mkdir oracle

2.3 Get into oracle Folder

cd oracle

2.3 take oracle The installation files oracle-xe-11.2.0-1.0.x86_64.rpm.zip Upload to /usr/local/src/oracle

2.4 Install the unzip tool

yum -y install unzip zip

2.5 decompression

unzip oracle-xe-11.2.0-1.0.x86_64.rpm.zip

2.6 Get into Disk1

cd Disk1

2.7 install

rpm -ivh oracle-xe-11.2.0-1.0.x86_64.rpm

After installation , function /etc/init.d/oracle-xe configure

2.8 Configure environment variables

 

take /etc/init.d/oracle-xe Copy the following contents in the configuration to /etc/profile end of file

export ORACLE_HOME=/u01/app/oracle/product/11.2.0/xe

export ORACLE_SID=XE

export ORACLE_BASE=/u01/app/oracle

export PATH=$ORACLE_HOME/bin:$PATH

LSNR=$ORACLE_HOME/bin/lsnrctl

SQLPLUS=$ORACLE_HOME/bin/sqlplus

ORACLE_OWNER=oracle

2.8.1 Get into /etc/init.d/oracle-xe file

vi /etc/init.d/oracle-xe

Copy out the contents in the red box in the figure below

2.8.2 Enter into /etc/profile

vi /etc/profile

Configure the following ( Just now from /etc/init.d/oracle-xe Content copied in )

2.8.3 Is the environment variable configuration effective

source /etc/profile

2.9 perform oracle XE To configure (2.7 It has been carried out , Repeat here , No need to execute , Just look at the results )

/etc/init.d/oracle-xe configure

The port defaults to everything , Set the password yourself

Execution results ( Failure ), If it fails, look at the solution below

Results a ( Failure )

Result two ( success )

3. Solutions to problems that arise :

3.1 Entry directory cd /u01/app/oracle/product/11.2.0/xe/config/scripts

3.2 Edit the file vi init.ora

Comment out the contents in the red box

 

3.3 Edit the file vi initXETemp.ora

Comment out the contents in the red box

If there's this , This is also commented out
