How to expand virtual machine capacity on vSphere client

Before virtual machine capacity expansion , Make sure the virtual machine is turned off .

1、 open VMware vSphere Client, Then log in .

2、 Select the virtual machine to be expanded , With master01 For example .

3、 open “ Resource allocation ” The column , Then choose Edit .

4、 Click on “ edit ” after , As shown in the figure below .

5、 Select the hard disk in the hardware 1, And then choose “ add to ”.

6、 Click on “ add to ” after , The following interface appears .

7、 choice “ Hard disk ”, And then click “ next step ”.

8、 Click on “ Create a new virtual disk ”, And then choose “ next step ”.

9、 Create disk size , You can customize , Add according to your own needs . ad locum , I made it up 50GB For example , After setting, select “ next step ”.

10、 Advanced options settings , By default , choice “ next step ”.

11、 finishing , choice “ complete ”.

12、 The following interface is displayed , Show “ Adding ”, Click on “ confirm ”.

13、 The following interface will pop up .

14、 Click again on the “ edit ”, Enter the following interface .

You can see a lot more “ Hard disk 2”, This indicates that the addition has been completed .

15、 Click... Of the virtual machine “ Abstract ” bar , You can see that the reserved storage has been expanded , As shown in the figure below .
