Application scenarios

In our normal work , The system is generally installed individually , But this method is only applicable to the case that there are few servers to install , Once there are more bare metal machines on site , Manual operation is obviously not feasible , therefore PXE Remote installation and Kickstart Unattended installation is very convenient .

build PXE Remote installation server

You need to prepare a host in advance Configure two network cards. One is to download the installation package , One is dhp

Install and enable DHCP service

 yum -y install dhcp

 cp -rfp /usr/share/doc/dhcp-4.2.5/dhcpd.conf.example /etc/dhcp/dhcpd.conf

vim /etc/dhcp/dhcpd.conf    ## Enter the configuration file to configure

 systemctl start dhcpd
systemctl enable dhcpd

Then open dhcp service Turn on the power and start automatically

Install and enable TFTP service

yum -y install tftp-server
yum -y install xinetd

Install package   I will not put the picture

vim /etc/xinetd.d/tftp  ## Modify the configuration file

Change to no Open for indication TFTP service

 mount /dev/cdrom /mnt 

cd /mnt/images/pxeboot/

cp initrd.img vmlinuz /var/lib/tftpboot/

And then open the service Start the service and start it automatically

yum -y install syslinux

 cp /usr/share/syslinux/pxelinux.0 /var/lib/tftpboot/

Put the system boot file    copy to tftp Under the root directory of

  Configure the Startup menu file

mkdir /var/lib/tftpboot/pxelinux.cfg

vim /var/lib/tftpboot/pxelinux.cfg/default

 

install ftp service , Get ready CentOS 7 Install source

yum -y install vsftpd

mkdir /var/ftp/centos7

cp -rf /mnt/* /var/ftp/centos7

 

systemctl start vsftpd        Turn on ftp

 systemctl enable vsftpd    Turn on the power and start automatically

Realization Kickstart Unattended installation

yum install -y system-config-kickstart

  open "Kickstart Configuration program ” window

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

  After configuration, save as ks.cfg file , The saved path is /var/ftp Next

We need to  /root/anaconda-ks.cfg  Inside from %packages start  %end Copy the content at the end to ks.cfg

  Verify unattended installation

 

 

  We can wait for the installation
