1、 This area cannot be used to create simple volumes

2、 Use “Windows+R” Call up the run dialog . Input “Diskpart”（ Case insensitive ）

3、 Call up the window as shown in the figure

4、 Enter the command “list disk”( Commands are not case sensitive , Note that there must be a space ）, Available in the operating system refers to the amount of disk space remaining , Available here refers to the unallocated disk space , Please pay attention to distinguish .
【 Be careful 】 The availability here is different from that in the operating system .

5、 Through the previous step, we found that it was disk 0 Is there any allocated space on . So enter the command “Select Disk 0（ Numbers 0, Not the mother of O）”

6、 Enter the command “convert dynamic” Convert this disk into a dynamic disk , After the command runs successfully, there will be a prompt as shown in the figure .

7、 There is no disk color identification before running the command, as shown in the figure

After this conversion, the disk has many advantages , Especially in Windows 7 in , After this conversion, the disk can be partitioned, such as cross letter merging , Thus, the trouble of downloading and installing third-party partition software is avoided

9、 Then we right-click on the disk that cannot create a simple partition just now , choice 【 New simple volume 】

11、 stay “ Assign a volume ” Select all capacities in size .【 next step 】

12、 Assign volume label , Default is good ,【 next step 】

13、 stay “ format partition ” Inside the page , Choose to format the partition as NTFS Format , Check the quick format 【 next step 】

14、 On the final confirmation page , Click... After confirming that the previous operation is correct 【 complete 】

15、 Because I want to reduce the system partition , So there is another step after this operation is to merge partitions , stay Windows 7 Through “ Expand volume ” To complete . So I once again deleted the partition I just created （ If you don't do this , Volume expansion will not be possible ）. Right click on the adjacent disk , choice “ Expand volume ”.

17、 This page will show the free space of our disk , Please choose... Carefully , Improper selection may result in data loss .
Be careful ： If we want to merge or expand partitions , Whether it's the combination of two disks , Or the combination of multiple disks , Can only guarantee one disk （ Partition ） Data of is not lost , Other plates （ Refers to the disk to delete the partition ） All data will be lost , So please be careful .

18、 Click on 【 complete 】

19、 We see , The previous two partitions have been merged into one partition . Of course, you can also choose third-party software to complete the above operations , But the operation of the software , Data security is not as safe as using internal commands or tools . for example , If it's in PE Disk format conversion under is likely to cause the system to fail to start . however Dos Orders would not have caused this , Any operation harmful to the system will never succeed .
