When upgrading vscode The following error is reported when ：

 

There was an error while marking a file for deletion:

Failed to mark file for deletion: Access denied .

Please verify there are no Visual Studio Code processes still executing

since yes “ Access denied ” It should be a matter of authority , close vscode, Right click vscode,“ Run as administrator ” Reopen vscode, When you are prompted to restart after upgrading again , Upgrade Complete .

You can also directly upgrade the current user permissions to administrator permissions once and for all ：

function gpedit.msc Open Group Policy Editor In turn “ Computer configuration ->Windows Set up -> Security Settings -> The local policy -> Security options ”

After entering the security options, double-click the... On the right “ Administrator account status ”

 

In the administrator account status , Check “ Enabled ”, Then click below “ determine ” Save to get administrator permission
