Redis installation (Ubuntu)

One 、 download

step 1：

stay Ubuntu Open the terminal , Enter the following command , download Redis Installation package ：

wget http://download.redis.io/releases/redis-4.0.9.tar.gz

Example ：

 

step 2：

Decompress the installation package , And move it to usr/local⽬ Record

The order is as follows ：
decompression ：

tar xzf redis-4.0.9.tar.gz

  Move ：

sudo mv ./redis-4.0.9 /usr/local/redis/

step 3：

Get into redis⽬ record , Compile the generated

command ：

cd /usr/local/redis/

sudo make

  Example ：

 

step 4：

test

sudo make test

step 5：

install , take redis The command to install to /usr/local/bin/⽬ record

sudo make install

step 6：

After installation , We go into the catalogue /usr/local/bin View in

cd /usr/local/bin
ls -all

Example ：

• redis-server redis The server
• redis-cli redis Command line client
• redis-benchmark redis Performance testing tools
• redis-check-aof AOF File repair tool
• redis-check-rdb RDB Document retrieval tools

 

step 7：

To configure ⽂ Pieces of , Move to /etc/⽬ Record

To configure ⽂ Pieces of ⽬ Recorded as /usr/local/redis/redis.conf

sudo cp /usr/local/redis/redis.conf /etc/redis/

• Redis The configuration information of is in /etc/redis/redis.conf Next .

  sudo vi /etc/redis/redis.conf

Core configuration options

• binding ip： If you need remote access , This can be ⾏ notes , Or bind ⼀ A reality ip

  bind 127.0.0.1

• End ⼝, The default is 6379

  port 6379

• Is it running as a daemons ⾏

  • If you use daemons to run ⾏, It's not a command ⾏ Blocking , Similar to service
  • If the ⾮ The daemons run ⾏, The current terminal is blocked

  • Recommended setting as yes

  dir /var/lib/redis
